Kai turned 10 in May. TEN. My stepdad decided that he was old enough to go on a trip alone, without parents. Kai chose to go to DC. Right now he's interested in US History and he thought that would be a good place to go. My stepdad took him to all the popular monuments, as well as the Aerospace Museum and Spy Museum. The Sunday that they were there, they went to FedEx Field to watch an NFL game-the Redskins vs. Colts. The game was the reason that they didn't take their trip closer to Kai's actual birthday, my stepdad wanted to bring him to a game.
Kai's favorite parts of the trip were: the NFL game, the spy museum, the aerospace museum, riding around DC in a limo (my stepdad's friend is a limo driver in DC),eating fresh crab cakes, and spending time with his Papa.
