Let it snow..in the middle of the desert

It's rare that we get snow in the valley of Las Vegas, being that we're in the middle of the desert. We get snow on our mountains and we have a popular ski resort that's a 45 minute drive from our house, but to actually get flurries and snow that sticks on house rooftops comes every few years, if even that.

This past Monday, Billy, Jake & I played in the snow at a park for a few minutes. We had just dropped Jewel & Kai off at school and weren't prepared for the cold/dampness, so we were out maybe a few minutes.






This is B, rolling some up and taking it home in the back of his truck for when Kai & Jewel got home. hehe.



















The snow was fun, but it can stay on the mountains. This Hawaii born and raised girl likes her sunshine and heat! =)
